Oivivio operates a general education and college fair, EDUfair™ in Belgrade, Serbia since 2004. Our 14th edition in 2017 presented more than 100 exhibitors from 19 countries to over 5,200 potential students.
Due to the difference in target groups and their lifestyles we span-off the MBA recruitment in 2006 as a stand-alone fair, the MBAfair™. After 12 editions (spring and fall) we had to discontinue this physical event due to a decrease in visitor average age and an increasing no-show rate by registered business professionals. We ran surveys and found out that almost 76% of those who missed scheduled appointment with recruiters cited unexpected and unscheduled business-related disruptions. Since the last, physical MBAfair event in 2015 we have been pondering how to satisfy the need of busy business people to acquire quality master and MBA education and recruiters who need to do more with less, spend money carefully while managing risks associated with this crazy international travel.
The solution that Oivivio is now proud to present to you is the Virtual MBAfair. While widely used in the US, virtual fairs are gaining traction now here in Europe. And Oivivio is the first to introduce virtual platform to master and MBA recruitment in SEE. Recruiters get the best from the physical fair, but with ease, convenience and at a fraction of cost. Potential master and MBA students can review college and business school offerings (like in a physical fair) and schedule text and/or video chats with recruiters to talk details, specials and anything else they could not find on the stand.
